This video is of me and my friend Mia Matsubara playing an epic form of rock, paper, scissors shoot. We first filmed this video in a green screen room, then went into After Effects and edited out the background and placed an image of a wall in our school. I learned many skills with this project, including; keylight, key color, masks, frames, and much more. If I were able to do this project over again I would try to find a way to not make us transparent, that was an accident due to trying to get rid of the green screen.

This is a JPEG image of one of my portfolio pages (pg.10). This is an example of how one of the pages are set up. The name of the project goes above the two colored squares. The grey square in the image is a different color on each page of the portfolio, made to make the image on that page. The white square on the photo is always the same though. The three buttons in the bottom right corner change the pages of the interactive PDF file. The up arrow changes to the previous page, the down arrow takes you to the next page, and the middle circle takes you back to the Table Of Contents.

Avatar/Cartoon

This is a vector creation I made in Illustrator of myself. We were told to choose a website with a tutorial that would teach us how to create our avatars. The websites were of four different styles and ways to create it. I chose the website that created a "pop art" image of yourself. This doesn't look pop art because the tutorial was trying to have me do something I wasn't able to do, so I left the avatar partly realistic. The main tool used to create the majority of the avatar was the pen tool, but I used a couple others including: the elliptical tool, the blend tool, and the direct selection tool. Overall, this project was easy, but very time consuming due to all the layers and drawing each individual parts.

Retouched Portraits

This is an image of me that my teacher, Mr. Cole, took for an Academy event that will be used in a slideshow. We were given the picture to retouch it and fix any flaws that we feel necessary. We were given steps and guidelines to follow to complete this. Some tools needed to retouch this image were the spot-healing, healing, clone stamp, dodge, and burn brushes and tools. Overall, this project was easy to do and I had no severe problems completing it. I learned new ways to manipulate images and I will be applying this technique to many more things of my own on my own time.

Troll

This is a troll I created through Illustrator using a tutorial. I worked really hard on this and took my time. I love how it turned out. If I were able to do this over I would use Live Paint to fill in the colors instead of creating individual paths.

Logo Design Sketches

These images are of my sketch book and my thought process through designing my logo. They are in the order that I created them. The first one being my first designs and continuing down.

This is my final creation. I decided to go with a simple design that shows that the company is eco-friendly. I really like this design that I have created. One thing that I wish I had been able to do was create more than one version, but I ran out of time.

Portfolio Cover

For this assignment we had to create the cover page of our portfolio. I decided to create a sort of collage as my cover. I wanted to show that I was a unique and creative person. I learned how to add images from Photoshop and place them to look like frames on the other images. I feel very proud of what I made. :)
