Avatar/Cartoon

This is a vector creation I made in Illustrator of myself. We were told to choose a website with a tutorial that would teach us how to create our avatars. The websites were of four different styles and ways to create it. I chose the website that created a "pop art" image of yourself. This doesn't look pop art because the tutorial was trying to have me do something I wasn't able to do, so I left the avatar partly realistic. The main tool used to create the majority of the avatar was the pen tool, but I used a couple others including: the elliptical tool, the blend tool, and the direct selection tool. Overall, this project was easy, but very time consuming due to all the layers and drawing each individual parts.

Retouched Portraits

This is an image of me that my teacher, Mr. Cole, took for an Academy event that will be used in a slideshow. We were given the picture to retouch it and fix any flaws that we feel necessary. We were given steps and guidelines to follow to complete this. Some tools needed to retouch this image were the spot-healing, healing, clone stamp, dodge, and burn brushes and tools. Overall, this project was easy to do and I had no severe problems completing it. I learned new ways to manipulate images and I will be applying this technique to many more things of my own on my own time.
